So a year ago we were looking for a solution to make life easier for our collections team, and I gave my finance team the task of finding a suitable solution to meet our objective of reducing DSO. So we had a choice between several solutions, since we did a little comparative market research, and our finance department opted for the Aston solution for several reasons.
The first is that it’s a hosted solution, so we don’t have to worry about implementing an IT tool to complement those we’re already using.
Secondly, we found the solution to be agile, scalable and easy for our teams to get to grips with. This has enabled us to reduce our customer collection times. On the one hand, we’ve been able to obtain a number of statistics that were previously very difficult to obtain via the eternal Excel files, and on the other, above all, it has freed up our teams to carry out value-added work. I think we’re also all the more satisfied that the Aston team, throughout the deployment, is still very attentive to our requests. We’ve always worked well with her, and we’ve had all the responsiveness we’ve come to expect. And when you’re an SME, this is extremely important.
